Katherine Prizeman, M.S.

Katherine is an international affairs professional specializing in disarmament, arms control and non-proliferation. She has worked for the United Nations as well as for a non-governmental organization. She is also an adjunct foreign language faculty member and has taught both beginner level Spanish as well as Spanish literature courses. Katherine received her Master’s of Science in Global Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Business and Philosophy from the University of Scranton in PA.
Michelle Wilsusen, LCSW-R

Michelle is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in co-occurring disorders. She has worked in community, hospital (e.g., in the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center) and private settings, and has been in private psychotherapy practice since 2007. She has presented at national and international conferences regarding her individual and group work as a standard of care. Michelle is an expert in mental health policy, mental health parity, and equal access to mental health treatment.
Michelle holds a masters degree in social work from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stonehill College. During college, she conducted empirical research at Harvard University
John Meyer

John is a professional social networker and fundraiser. In addition to serving on the CFEDSC board of directors, he serves on The Farmingdale Horticultural Committee of the Farmingdale College Foundation of the State University of New York at Farmingdale. John is a regular contributor to the Atlantic Nursery Newsletter, in which he has authored numerous articles related to gardening, landscaping and horticulture.
John is a horticulturist, and a manager at a commercial garden center in Freeport, New York. He holds an associate degree in applied science and a bachelor of technology degree from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. John is also a landscape design specialist, and holds a CNLP certificate from Cornell University.
Sean Wilsusen, Esq.

Sean is an expert in medical and legal issues related to Cystic Fibrosis and he manages much of the day to day operations of CFEDSC. He performs a large proportion of our scientific research analysis and drafts many of our research repots and summaries. He also chairs our publication review board, which evaluates articles and research reports for publication on CFEDSC.org. Sean is a patent attorney with a neuroscience and biology background. In his legal practice, he helps individuals and businesses (both startups and established businesses) secure patent rights for their inventions and protect their intellectual property rights. He holds bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Quinnipiac University, a master’s degree in biology from The City University of New York – Queens College, and a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra Law School.
